An extremely interesting read but also really shows that as women we didn't have a ton of legal rights until much later than is ok (1980s!!!). I'm now branching into more recent cases so let's see how things develop

Currently diving into a case from the late 1800's! The story of Eliza, a woman who went to court to divorce her husband. During this time, only men could initiate a divorce.

Fun fact, Eliza is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery!
