I totally get why people are obsessed with this book. I see all the parts that make this a fantastic novel. It's just not clicking with me yet. So far it seems a little bit to on the nose. I feel like Rooney isnt leaving much for the reader to interpret and dig into on their own. I really want to love it though and it feels like a story that should click with me. It just isnt yet.
