So far, it is a really well constructed story, somehow the author writes it so beautifully that it’s impossible not to understand the FMC. She was a child (22-15 year difference!!!) when she met him. He gaslit her soooo hard for so long that somehow she is THANKFUL that he keeps her in a cage. I just wanna hug her. It’s a heavy read but really well done.
