Not me getting emotional because they weren't having guilty religious feelings for being lesbians, just for the last 50 pages to be all conflict because Lucy can't stand the idea of being out😍. At least they love eachother so much I guess... For now it doesn't bother me, but I just hope it's not all internalised homophobia and fear of getting caught...

I knew the love interest would be Susannah since the moment Lucy describes her as a sunbeam, so cute. Love the terrifying and exciting feeling of intimacy and solitude with the girl you like.

My poor Lucy is so hopelessly in love with Sussanah, and she is still waiting to start feeling things for guy...
The writing style is quite particular, it jumps quickly from thought to though as if we were reading straight from a teenager's diary.
