The fact about Jamestown was interesting, but still contained a blatant falsity: The suffering at Jamestown was the result of a communist experiment where everyone got his "fair share" of what was produced, not of a harsh winter. A visitor reported that he saw malnourished people bowling in the streets instead of working the fields. All described by Huemer, "The Problem of Political Authority".

I wrote an update that was meant for a different book. Disregard that one.

As for this book, the real one: It's entertaining enough, a short read, fairly interesting, but nothing extraordinary.

Definitely one of the most dense books I've ever read, but with a language this precise, I don't really mind.
