I'm sorry but what are we doing? Where is this story going? This doesn't even read like a Legendborn book. I'm forcing myself through it hoping it will get better, but for now we got 200 pages of exposition and ~30 pages of character development thrown in the trash.

Feels wrong to say since I love the Legendborn cycle books but 207 pages of reading until it got interesting 😭 I almost got into a reading slump.

This book is so big I'm 85 pages in and still going through the setting up phase of the story 😭 If this story ends with someone's death I swear to God

Finally dared to start reading this Bible sized book. Probably the only book that can get me out of the post-reading depression that came after finishing The Shepherd King duology.
