wway to ignore Acts 8:34-35...

He pretty clearly rejects impassibility.

He takes all the births from Isaiah 7 to 9 as not messianic but fulfilled exclusively in the time of Isaiah. Boo!

However he does have some good insight on the Hebrew in chapter. 5

Im not happy about Goldingay's acceptance of multiple authors of Isaiah, but its a good practice to read someone you disagree with. I do agree with his thesis that Isaiah was a collection of sermons/prophecies that were organized by a single mind. The clear structure of the book manifests this.
