Chapter 1 finished. Did the very cool thing of having a mystery where its not even clear there is one, which I appreciate. It was absolutely awful to sit through though, by design of course. Hopefully the rest of the story will be a bit more bearable though.

58 pages in, this is already probably the most revolting thing I've ever read in my life, and I've read works by Maijo and Umisawa Kaimen. Unlike popular belief I don't actually enjoy reading detailed descriptions of the worst crimes humanity is capable of, so I hope we get to the mystery part soon.
