Caz ending up with the other brothers was no surprise
I am glad / satisfied with that being the ending to this book

I hope there’s a book two
If there is
I hope it’s a diff story with diff mcs

I’m feeling generous rn giving this three stars

I guess that exhibition summit scene may have been the same one I was thinking about

It was underwhelming though
Very meh

The fmc has since parted ways with her guys
I feel like this story has gone nowhere fast

The first three chapters, while extremely depressing, were the most interesting to read

I guess I’ll find out in the next few chapters if the summit scene is the same one that’s eluded be all these years

If so it’ll likely change my rating

This writing has been truly atrocious so far
Poor execution of intriguing concept

And earlier I even made mental comparisons bc of similarities with a diff series
The star series by Morgan Hawke
Very similar tropes and concepts
Specifically human woman turned alien
Human man turned alien
Alien alpha type
And it being a mmf

Plus exhibitionist themes
And the humans transformed into aliens stuff

Been skim reading a lot
Bc most of it turned into constant orgies between the three of them
Bleh
Honestly boring smut
So boring I wouldn’t even classify it as smut

But
This scene, upcoming summit
It suddenly occurred to me this might be the book I’ve been thinking of but couldn’t find FOR YEARS

Chapter two was better but no less depressing bc that fucking blurb spoiled it
So I’m just waiting for the inevitable when the fmc becomes and orphan again

Ugh

I vaguely recall rating this book five stars
Prob a decade ago when I first read this
Before I used goodreads

All my old books from that time are gone
This is a reread
I recall nothing

But chapter one was fucking bleak and beyond depressing
Ugh

Not looking forward to it turning into an mmf romance
