Eris once again pulls us into the world of the shadow folk. Her writing is rich, intentional, and creates a connection between reader and character. I enjoyed reading and seeing the relationship between Mars and Adelaide evolve from distrust and honesty to one where they begin to love and count on one another.
The combination of character development, plot, and world building draws you in! A great read!
