Call me basic 🤭 but I melt faster than ice cream in a heatwave when the mmc calls the fmc 'baby' or 'love'—but only when it feels natural and isn’t overused 😌

Depends on the book and the characters personality. Ty Walker calling Lexie mamma 😍, melts me every time. I see this nickname in other books, it just didn't work for me

Aww, 'ptichka' sounds so cute 🥺
I don't like 'babe' either 🙅♂️
But I wanna know—are these all your top-tier ones? I’ve got ones I like depending on my mood, but those two are my all-time faves.

Tbh 'kitten' isn't as controversial as 'baby girl,' imo 👀

Okay, so Hades calls Sofia 'baby' in the Betrothed series by Penelope Sky, and the reason he calls her that is just... 🤌🏻🫶🏻😩 This is my all-time favorite series. The first four books tell their story.
Against the Wall by Cate C Wells
Embers by Claire Kent
Silent Lies by Neva Altaj
@ Abhilasha (semi-hiatus)My top tier ones are definitely Ptichka,(Little bird) Mishka, (Little bear) and Malyshka (baby)... I also forgot to add "Little One" my hubby calls me that too.
But, the others I listed in my first post, I still love those but only when they're used in a genuine capacity, and not as a throw-away. Like something that a guy will say to any female, all the time, no matter what else is being said between them at the time. To me that sounds cheesy and fake.. Like "Babe" and "Bae".. UGH!! I really hate those nicknames or endearments.. The only time I like "Bae" Is when you're talking about "Bacon and Eggs" (giggles)

Many of my favorites are:
Ptichka (Little bird 🐦 in russian my hubby calls me this all the time)
Malyshka (Baby in russian)
Baby but NOT Babe 😂
My Love
Sweetheart
Lil Mama
Babygirl
Yeah the list goes on 😂
