I'm simultaneously watching Shadowhunters TV while reading this and I have to say that the book is just a half star higher in terms of quality. So far, I'm about to start Episode 7 but I'm already at the last chapter of the book. IMO, the battle sequences are poorly executed in TV but skillfully written in the books. Also, the narrative and acting are tad cringy.

I'm sick but I'm thankful for it because I finally now have the mood of re-reading this series. Re-reading them all before watching the whole season one of the Shadowhunters TV Show and also in preparation for my first Lady Midnight reading. And yes, I'm quite recovering fast.
