I'm curious to see wht he recommends. Too much Samuel R Delany, probably.

It looks like his focus was not to choose each author's best work, but to collect a list that touches on all the major themes, subgenres and movements within SF. Most authors only had one work listed. Wells had the most with three. The only Delany pick was Nova.
