- I know the lore. I’ve read Elizas stories. it’s tender to read of it again
- I always feel loss (ironically) when I read her stories. Lost things, spaces, people. Losing. Yearning. Searching. impermanence. I don’t know how to feel about that.
- there’s a word I learned recently closely related to nostalgia that escapes me. P***algia?-sadness in losing tradition, a life lived, culture.
