As a friend is reading, "Lady Susan," aloud to me, this is going to be a unique experience. This is also my first time "reading" Jane Austen.

As Jane was a newbie when she wrote this, I was curious whether it would be simple, or complicated with rawness. I guess both, as it is complicated and short. I'm glad I've seen the movie, considering the number of characters and relationships we have to keep track of.
