I am disappointed in this book so far. The death of a child is a LIFE ALTERING event - this author has really missed the mark in the direction of the main characters life (mom).. timeline 1 and timeline 2 should be complete opposites. Death brings grief and unhappiness and alcoholism or drug abuse…. I’m so annoyed that this book is so focused on romantic relationships. I’ve read Nothing profound or thoughtful

I like the concept of this book, but I really wish the author took more time to use a little more creativity. Saying “timeline 1” and “timeline 2” for every other chapter doesn’t sit well with me - like it wasn’t thought out
