I’m so close to finishing!

Rosaleen got her voters registration, June set the date for her wedding, and Lily realized how much she had missed out on while she was sulking by the river.

So… apparently I was wrong. There’s 14 chapters, not 13. Oh well.

Anyway, Lily finally got the sign of love from her mother. In the form of a picture of her and her mom when Lily was a baby. I’m so ready to be done with this book lol

End of chapter twelve, which means I have one chapter left until I’m done! WHOO!

Anyways, August and Lily come together to piece together Deborah’s (Lily’s mom) story. Deb originally did leave Lily, like T. Ray had said, but what he didn’t say is that she came back to get Lily. Didn’t work out though. You know why.

At long last, Lily had told August everything. There were some context clues pointing to the fact that August already knew the truth, but it was nice to see what all the Boatwrights knew about Lily and her mom.

Zach and Lily kissed and promised to meet up when society can’t stop them from being together.

June’s getting married! It seems that everytime Lily plans to tell August the truth, something gets in the way.
