Grief - what a long dirge of a catalogue of her life events - boring. I made the correct decision first time round when I stopped reading at 45%. The "highlight" is the tragic death of her first husband from insulin treatment for schizophrenia - and from 60 % to the here - I have lost count of which school Paul is at, who is Ann? which job she is working; even the war-time depiction of London - is rest boring.
