yeah I was wondering that too, I have around 70 something in mine (which probs is a lot) but I plan on reading all of them within the next year or two, I go thru books pretty quickly so maybe thats just me but anything more than 100-200 is defo too much

This is such a valid question -- I plan to eventually finish all of the books on my TBR but I feel like I find new books all the time that interest me, so the list keeps growing! I do have a mental list, though, of books I want to read immediately versus books I'm ok with waiting to read later.

I have the most random book on my tbr ( over a thousand😭) but i lowkey just add any book that interests me and hope i read it one day 😭

I try to understand why people would do such a thing but personally I’d get overwhelmed easily, I am just really picky because I know for a matter of fact I’d get burnt out if I had a huge tbr . . .

i have 100 ish but i just use them as a guideline to read at some point in the future. i do have intention to read them later and i clear my tbr periodically to ensure i still have interest in the books i added!!!! its kind of comforting to know i wont run out of things to read honestly

Exactly, I'm picky too, so I just add the ones I want to genuinely read.
