It feels like reading Great Britain's history but in a very magical way. I keep thinking it copied straight from the core of Christendom in Great Britain during the middle ages. It is a slow read for me, I admit. But I like it too. Not as much as the other fantasy series I have read but it is likable still.

used the sad dark situations and the corruptNess of the church in the medieval times added magic in it and claimed it to be a new taste of fantasy. this is an insult to my very own intelligence. I'm halfway done and it's annoying lol

this is getting into me now. it's not funny. I read a lot of books, historical fiction, historical urban fantasy fiction, and fantasy. but this is the first time where someone never bothered to think and just took our history, changed the names, added a letter here and there

Lots of loose ends...lots have characters that lack attitude and depth. Lots of reactions to certain stimuli that don't make sense. Shallow. Confusing. And the heroine seem a dumb bitch
