WHAT JUST HAPPENED. Come on! The book was fine so far, why did you (author) had to write THAT scene? Huh? It is a big no for me, deal-breaker! Tristan and Essy? She is 17 btw. And I know it was the work of Branwen's potion, but still! Though if I'm completelly honest, I expected something like that to happen, just not this way. Oh, and finally Branwen called Essy out! About time! All it took was a betrayal though? Um

Essy is a spoiled brat. She has everything she could ever wish for and yet she's being so selfish and ungrateful! She's about to marry a King, be a queen herself and she's complaining? I'm sorry? And Branwen is like, "Oh she has a lot in her mind..." (like what girl?) and she makes excuses for her ALL the time, despite her being treated like dirt. Get it together girl! Stop being a doormat, she is your cousin!

Okay, so they said "I love you" already, so unless it is a standalone (which it isn't) I am a bit nervous that tragedy is about to strike. I have a feeling that this Cup of Love will bring trouble. I imagine that it will affect Branwen & Tristan's bond somehow. I usually don't like that kind of twists, but if the book is interesting enough... Well then, I will continue it. We shall see! (fingers crossed!)

I was right! Not only Tristan is a prince but also technically, a king! The plot is moving, though I'm not very sure that I'll enjoy the direction it's heading. I mean the Essy and lord D plotline, as well as the involvement of "magic" in order to seperate them. I don't like D either, but I feel like Branwen is intervening with things that maybe she shouldn't. But she seems to be certain that it's the Old Way's will.

Oh my, finally! A book that brings back memories of the books I've read in my first Kindle years! A bit of Rutkoski's "Winner's Curse" or Cass' "A Thousan Heartbeats" vibes. Okay, now about the plot. I just *know* that Tantris is the prince of Kernyv. I had a feeling he was going to be secretly a prince from the moment he was introduced. Just a hunch -or a hope, if you will. We'll find out soon enough!
