I don't think she'll ne able to go home, or wants to go home, until her father passes and she's born.

Read at library w/ my mom. Idk what's going on with Nima, she may have some sort of mental illness or dissociative disorder... or maybe it really is supernatural/spiritual and she's not "crazy".

Neima keeps having these out of body, dissociative experiences I think, like depersonalization, to the point she believes she can dissappear or go invisible on command if she wishes she never existed... I wonder if the man at the pool was blind because he didn't see her, but this only makes her believe she can wish her self away into disappearance even more. Also, poor Haitham, her poor mom, and RIP her dad.

It's really beautiful. My mom loves it too. It's a fictional memoir, each memory told chronologically but in poems that flow beautifully and have interesting forms. I always wanted to write my own book like this, or perhaps in prose... 5 stars!
