im reading this book as i read ovid’s metamorphoses. as i come across a character in metamorphoses who has a story featured in this book, i read the story. i know the author was just writing about what she wanted to write about, and like, word, and i know this isn’t meant to be a companion to metamorphoses, but damn are there stories that i wish were in here!
