I’m has done so little to actually convince me that Wrath is a prince of hell and not just some sexy millionaire rolling over a kingdom. Nothing about him says demon. Literally not one thing. Like he kinda loses his temper a little sometimes but immediately reigns it back in. I’m supposed to believe this guy is Satan?!? Come on!

This book just doesn’t make any sense. The entire story is about DEMONS falling in LOVE! It’s ridiculous really. And the whole thing with Wrath not being able to fall in love because of the tonic… he’s already in love with Emilia. He treats her like gold but we’re supposed tobelieve he’s not actually in love with her?!?

This book isn’t cutting it. I really like the whole feel of the first book. The cooking. The spooky mystery. The vintage vibes. Book two started to stray. This one…? It’s like a completely different series. The characters are not even the same! I’m sorry, we’re supposed to believe the actual literal devil is some sweet, protective, loving partner?

I don’t know. There’s character development and then there’s whatever this is. Emilia is a completely different person. I get that she’s “waking up” and remembering herself but this just feels like a different series than the first book.
