I have read some reviews that this one can be rather tedious and that it lacks character development and that the figurine seems not to be playing such a big part in this whole story. So far I am enjoying the book but that might because of a the deep blue sky and the high summer temperature we are momentarily dealing with. I needed some Greece in my life and Hislop is then right author to turn to.
