I’m on chapter 21 of 41 and I feel like I’m dying here. I even went back to read the reviews to see if I’m alone in this. Nope. Loads of people stated they didn’t like this book or DNFd. it isn’t the narrator for Poppy that’s annoying. For me, it’s just plain spoiled brat Poppy and two feckless parents who let her get away with all sorts of rudeness. Narrator is fine.

I am starting the 5th chapter and the child, Poppy, may be why I dnf. I’ll give it a bit more but that spoiled brat is ruining the story. I am listening on Audible. Maybe it is better without narration? I’ll never know
