literally just using buzz titles and hoping it lands somewhere…..it is really lazy marketing imo in the same vein of calling a new author the new joyce/morrison/steinbeck/insert any famous author here

@cait at that point, i’m not sure what’s even left that’s original. the endless stream of comparisons is exhausting, and half the time, they don’t even make sense. all it does is set the bar sky-high, only for the book to trip over it, lol
