I'm currently on a chapter where half the chapter has been talking about farts... What in the world is this? And the conversation is all - Gary said... Ross said... Gary said... Ross said... It's literally the worst way to write a conversation. Not that it is a great conversation to read about (listen to) in the first place, but having it written poorly makes it even worse.
