At part when mc meets Skarpi. It’s story after story, which is really intriguing. Many interesting/different side characters. The writting is so good/descriptive I feel like I’m in Kvothe shoes meeting these people for the first time. Their stories are unraveling, and while that’s happening I’m learning how they mold Kvothe into what he becomes. (No idea what that is yet)

“They are just as dead either way.” He literally said they died and I didn’t catch it. Everyone DIED. NO

The way the author uses the troupe, the arts, that mold him into the person he becomes, is nothing like I’ve read and is so brilliant. He had a great adolescent filled with good memories. His parents have a great relationship, so does the family and he’s surrounded by people that teach him valuable skills, and care for him. It’s too good to be true, making me more curious when the turning point comes.
