have to be honest, i'm not really hooked. all the stories revolve around the same themes (queerness, black/latino heritage, racism and homophobia, occasionally neighbourhood politics) but they all sorta bleed into one another. the best ones so far have been "bayou" and the reoccurring stories about the black-latino family running a restaurant
