Started strong. Decent thesis. Lost me a bit in the middle and lost me alot more with some incorrect statements about the Left. But brought it back together by the end.

Tremendously embarrassing to read Synder tout Ron Paul, Stephen Cohen, and John Pilger as leaders of the “Left”, when they are at best libertarian. Synder uses the views and opinions of these writers during the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine to portray the Left as complacent in the rise of Fascism in America.
