So I'm reading the final chapter. It's the final page spread of that last chapter and MY EYES DRIFT TO THE LAST SENTENCE.
My mind goes to, "OH wow, that's how this book ends!" . . . "Wait, that's not as bad a cliffhanger everyone else was saying." I'm thinking, "alright, that's a manageable cliffhanger."
And then I turn the page and there's a flippin' half page epilogue. WITH THE CLIFFHANGER.
So good. Read this.

OMG, this is a DUOLOGY!
The sequel doesn't come out until November 2024 and I just know this is going to end on a cliffhanger and then I'll have to wait MONTHS to find out what happens.
This book is INCREDIBLE and I do not want to finish this book only to have to wait 8 months for another.
