So far, this book has kept me very engaged and I am loving it. Jasmine is a high achieving student and has very big dreams for herself. Jasmine's dreams come to a halt when she discovers her parents and herself are not legally allowed to be in the United States. Jasmine's life takes another turn when she meets Royce -- a far right political figure's son. I think Royce will help Jasmine with citizenship.
