“ my advice is to let this book be whatever it needs to be to you at the time you open it.”
Shut up I’ll cry. How much of a book do I have to read to decide it’s a tattoo book? Genuine question

I honestly really like this book. I think it’s a good way to introduce thinking about experience rather than form when it comes to architecture and urban planning and from a senior in college studying interior design, this book is fun to read compared to other assigned readings

I haven’t even made it to Calvino’s book yet and the preface written by Anthony Doerr is beautiful and the way he can make someone imagine experiencing older siblings playing Dungeons and Dragons and having that child-like imagination is awe inspiring. We’re using big words today because I’m feeling real intellectual right now
