I’m a little over halfway and I may not finish it. I love the cover art. I’m just not loving it. There is not a ton of dialogue or building of tension with Luke and Emmy. It’s very surface level tension and it doesn’t draw me in at all. My biggest pet peeve with some books, this one included, is when the spicy scenes don’t align with the character personalities. I just don’t recognize the characters.
