Sorry. What is this? Pea is telling her horrible story and Beat is pretending he has a conscience? He is in just as bad a spot, true. Why is he acting like he did know Godfrey was a crap human? Why is this written like someone has no idea how the “villain” should be? Beat sounds like a hormonal teenager at best.
