That chapter had the most iconic moment of the whole book in it where Garrick gets shot and his insiders heal so rapidly that the bullet is forced upwards through the only opening, his esophagus, and he spits it out. I've been thinking about that for like 10 years since I read this book originally

Once again am I vindicated that this is the best one. I had a big smile on my face throughout Garrick's whole monologue
