I’ve always loved libraries after dark🌟

For one perfect, wondrous moment, the world stops spinning and the stars wink at us through the window. Vincent’s heartbeat matches mine. His arms are solid and warm around me, and there’s laughter on our lips as we kiss. The books around us are quiet, in the way inanimate objects are, but I can feel them around us-full of magic; full of possibility.

I’m always going to be a reader. And I’m always going to be a romantic. While Vincent and I might not have the high-stakes and cinematic live story, I choose to see the fantastical in us.

The thing is, I don’t read romance novels for the realism. I read them because they make me feel seen and heard as a woman.

Why would you use a word such as “stubble” to describe the male anatomy 😭

I power on. “See? Batshit. People don’t really talk like this during sex, do they? That’s just in bad erotica.” I’m joking, of course. But then Vincent’s hand comes down on my shoulder, his thumb pressing hard against my collarbone and effectively pinning me to the bed, and it’s not a joke anymore. “Be a good girl for me, Kendall,” he says without a drop pf humor, “and take it.”

“You have a ridiculously pretty dick, Vincent.” HAHAHAHA

I groan and let my head fall back, eyelids fluttering shut.
“Okay?” Vincent asks.
“Mmh.”
“Good girl.”

this scene is actually bombastic

“Good. So, I’m going to put two fingers inside you,” Vincent says as he flips over his hand gently, so I’m still holding it in mine, “and then I’m going to curl them up, like this and you’re going to come on my hand.”
