The first thing I thought as I started reading this book was that although I moved to Lafayette 36 years ago, I didn't know much about its history. Civil War battles??? Also, Am I the only person in Lafayette who, as I sit at a certain red light, look up at the upstairs window of a certain house, to see if I see the rumored ghost that is sometimes spotted?
