In order for someone to claim that all socialists are lazy, thieves, wicked, scoundrels, etc. they have to be ring-wing extremists, backward and obtuse. In fact, strangely enough, some of those epithets apply to them even better.
As a matter of fact, I am not a socialist by any stretch of the imagination, but an old-school social democrat. I lean left politically.
