Also also, his comment about not drinking anything handed to him is hilarious because of the potion instructions, but also common practice for someone dealing with potions and as a princess's royal knight I'm surprised he didn't already have a similar policy because he is soooo trusting, even if he says he was untrusting of her at the beginning.

So I know he's super chivalrous and I assume he is saying he doesn't want her to starve before finishing the potion, but I'm certain that's just what he's telling himself, and that he's also just nice to everyone. He definitely likes her some, he just isn't as obvious as the witch, he also doesn't seem to notice the witch likes him.

He always comes to the defense of witches, like when he didn't know he was. It makes her love him more. I just wish she knew WHY he was getting the love potion. That would resolve so many problems. But communication, regardless of her inability to lie, is not a strong suit since she has no practice.

I just want to commend the merchant buying from her for knowing what was up, seeing a guy coming to the cottage to visit her and making it clear he is just a customer and that he noticed she has a fancy table cloth and everything is cleaner and so on. so Cute! A great bestie if there ever were one.
