Jayson’s Reviews > Geiger, Vol. 4 > Status Update
Jayson
is finished

Notes:
(1) The last half of this is focused on the big battle once the feds come knocking.
- I appreciate that it's the type of battle that's more of a high pressure situation meant for further character development.
(2) I guess the moral of the story is that true humanity is valuing the company of others.
- It's healing, whereas being entirely self-interested is poisonous.

Jayson’s Previous Updates
Jayson
is 50% done

Notes:
(1) This is a much better read in trade. Compared to the previous volume which was mostly standalone issues or mini arcs.
- This, on the other hand, requires no small amount of recall and isn't best served in monthly installments.
(2) One of the themes of this first half is how helpless Geiger is.
- Formerly a lone wolf, he only survives because of people around him.

Jayson
is starting

Notes:
(1) The latest arc just came out in singles and so I'm re-reading the last arc in trade for a refresher.
(2) This volume's really the culmination of the first big meta-arc of the series.
- Firstly, in a literal sense, the series has hitherto been one long journey, and this is the destination.
- It also shuffles characters in and out at the very end, a symbolic reset.
