Enjoying 'Grapes of Wrath' very much. Interesting insight into life for many in the USA during the great depression. Steinbeck shows how unbridled capitalism can destroy lives and turns into the survival of the fittest.
Steinbeck's style may seem ponderous for modern tastes and the dialogue unclear at times. Still I expect to be awarding this novel five stars once I have finished it.
