Claire B **paused for now** is finished
This book is like an extended prologue. Setting things up, introducing characters, etc. I wish the additional information had been placed at the beginning, not the end, where it would have been easier to access.

"I couldn't fight the urge to close my eyes, to match my breathing to his, and I was floored with a feeling that couldn't be serenity. Because peacemakers were never meant to know real peace."

Armise and Merq's relationship is a divisive one at best. I can't work either of them out.

Simone - on indefinite hiatus - There's a lot of time skipping in the first book, but after this it will be better! :) I hope you will enjoy it!!! *crossing my fingers*

Claire B **paused for now** The time jumps don't bother me so far, I can understand why the author has done it. It reminds me a bit of ICoS as far as the setting and secret agendas go but is different enough that I'm not making direct comparisons...I like it. :-)

Simone - on indefinite hiatus - Phew! Hallelujah! LOL.
I've read it before ICoS and I loved it so goddamn hard. ;-) I never marked so much in my whole life. LOL.
I was reluctant at first, because I don't like large time gaps in my books, but the author did the majority in the first one and I was totally fine with it. Others were bothered by this, though... :(
