I stopped caring. if you bring a certain number of junkies back from the brink, you start to wonder does everyone deserve this extreme saving?” Wow! So I guess that’s when you chose anesthesia. I mean that literally what you do, “extreme saving”.

Says to an anesthesiologist who used to be an EMT at a party “do you miss it the adrenaline?” Obviously, the author nor the protagonist have a clue what an anesthesiologist does. I found this particularly offensive since I am an anesthesiologist. Anesthesiology is pure adrenaline from start to finish.

The line “those straw colored curls stylishly tousled. His plaid shirt pressing against biceps, pecs. Faded jeans highlighting toned thighs”. Please that writing is subpar.

I want to DNF this book. 📕 ugh the writing is absolutely amateur. There is no solid prose. The dialogue is cringy.
