While I was initially disappointed that this book involves new characters, Lilac and Tarver's story had reached its conclusion. And I came to like Jubilee and Flynn and was happy to have a strong female character in the mix. This novel wasn't the same experience as the first but it was interesting in its own way and a great read. 3.75 stars
