slow progress bc i reread the prologue 3 times... it was that serious. i know exactly which winding road castillo is talking about in the prologue, the only road that takes u to baguio that feels like it cuts through the clouds. i feel a bit underwhelmed by the mundanity of their american life but im loving hero and roni's dynamic! & ya the jarring lack of conflict and melodrama after that prologue is def on purpose
