need to know if i’m in the minority here (which i think so and that’s okay) - there IS such a thing as too flowery, lyrical prose. morrison’s writing is immaculate and the thing of legends, but sometimes it’s very hard to catch plot points because they’re spoken in metaphor or some other literary device
