Spiritualism was a big thing at the time… lots of famous people were into it 🫤

That's so true, I notice this in a lot of books from that time period, even a couple of kids' stories. I guess every era has an area in which it tends to be spiritually or morally blind, to paraphrase C.S. Lewis.
Katja~ It's sad. And fair point. Of course, a lot of people still do it. As play, and as not. I don’t know how many people claiming to follow Jesus do?
Elena~ Ah. Another fair point. I wonder if there's anything in my life like that? I hope not. But if one is truly blind to something, they don't see it. Unless... they ask God and others to tell them if they're doing something wrong? Blindly or otherwise?
