Amazing how in this book, in its simplicity, I can see myself so much in the protagonist, in her difficult relationship with her mother, in her desire for change, in her joy at being surrounded by books. Unfortunately, I don’t have her same courage to change my life so radically.
So far this book is proving to be an enjoyable summer read...
